Ratko Nikolić
Ratko Nikolić (; born 15 September 1977) is a Serbian politician and former handball player serving as a member of the National Assembly since 8 December 2021. He is a member of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). Club career After starting out at his hometown club Šamot, Nikolić spent three seasons with Crvena zvezda (1996–1999) and four seasons with Sintelon (1999–2003). He later moved abroad and played for Fotex Veszprém (2003–2004), Altea (2004–2005), Portland San Antonio (2005–2010), Al Sadd (2010), KIF Kolding (2010–2011), Vardar (2011–2012), Dinamo Minsk (2012–2013) and Borac Banja Luka (2013–2016). International career Nikolić made his major international debut for FR Yugoslavia at the 1999 World Championship, winning the bronze medal. Aranđelovac
Aranđelovac ( sr-cyr, Аранђеловац, ) is a town and a municipality located in the Šumadija District of central Serbia. , the municipality has a population of 46,225 inhabitants, while the town has 24,797 inhabitants. It is situated beneath the mountains Bukulja and Venčac, at about above sea level, away from Belgrade. The municipality encompasses two towns and 18 village communities. RK Železničar 1949 () is a Serbian handball club based in Niš. They compete in the Serbian Handball Super League. History The club was formed as RK Naissus on 7 September 2009 by the amalgamation of RK Železničar and ORK Niš. They immediately started competing in the Serbian Handball Super League by inheriting the spot from ORK Niš. On 5 December 2011, the club changed its name to RK Železničar. They won their first trophy, the Serbian Handball Cup, in the 2013–14 season. After suffering relegation from the top flight in 2016, the club spent the following season without competing. 2009 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2009 World Men's Handball Championship (21st tournament) took place in Croatia from 16 January to 1 February, in the cities of Split, Zadar, Osijek, Varaždin, Poreč, Zagreb and Pula. Croatia was selected from a group of four potential hosts which included the Czech Republic, Greece and Romania. The opening game and ceremony were held in Split, and the final game was played in Zagreb. France won the tournament after defeating Croatia in the final. Poland took the third place after winning over Denmark. Tickets for the tournament went on sale from 15 to 20 November. For the finals, ticket prices started at 700 kuna (c. €95). To promote the tournament, the Croatian National Tourist Board launched a series of presentations in the capitals of 13 participating countries. The 2006 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the seventh tournamentof the tournament and held in Switzerland from 26 January to 5 February 2006, in the cities of Basel, Berne, Lucerne, St. Gallen and Zürich. The European Men's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national handball teams of Europe and takes place every two years since 1994, in the even-numbered year between the World Championship. The World University Handball Championship is the World University Championship (WUC) in handball competition contested by the men's and women's university's national teams of the member federations/associations of International University Sports Federation (FISU). World Men's Handball Championship
The IHF Men's Handball World Championship has been organized indoor by the International Handball Federation since 1938. In the twenty-seven tournaments held, eleven nations have won the title. France is the most successful team with six titles, followed by Sweden and Romania with four titles each. The current champion is Denmark, which won its second title at the 2021 tournament in Egypt.
