''Random Acts of Intimacy'' is the debut album by Scottish rock band, Sucioperro, released on 12 June 2006 by Captains of Industry. Overview "The Crushing Of The Little People" was featured on the "''Kerrang! New Breed''" double album compilation. Three singles were released from the album - free 'taster' download "Wolf Carnival"; "Dialog On The 2" and "The Drop" were released on CD and were accompanied by two b-sides each. "Grace & Out Of Me" was later released as a free download to coincide with the band's tour with Surrey rockers Reuben - with the accompanying music video directed by Reuben's Jamie Lenman. The artwork was the first collaboration between Stewart Chown (who would later go on to become the band's bassist) and Glasgow-based photographer Gordon Burniston. The Captains of Industry were an independent record label based in London and Durham, UK. They announced their launch in 2003 "as a self-funded experiment in art and commerce" with a plan to exist for 5 years, and as a result ceased trading while in profit in 2008. They released material by artists including Hell Is for Heroes, The Grates, Peace Burial at Sea, Gay for Johnny Depp, The SoundEx, Marmaduke Duke, Kinesis, TEAM and Sucioperro. ''Pain Agency'' is the second album by Scottish rock band Sucioperro, released on 4 May 2009 by Maybe Records. Overview Pain Agency was recorded in the band's studio in Ayr between June and October 2007. A video entitled 'The Making of Pain Agency' was created and posted on the band'YouTube page'Dragon's Pain Agency' a diary of events between the 10 June – 12 July written by the lead singer, was made available online from 16 July 2007 and includes information about recording developments, song titles, eating habits and progress through the computer game ' Black'. ''Drowned in Sound'', sometimes abbreviated to ''DiS'', is a UK-based music webzine financed by artist management company Silentway. Jamie Lenman
Jamie Edward Lenman (born 9 November 1982) is an English musician and illustrator. He was the lead singer, guitarist and main songwriter for British alternative rock trio Reuben, from 2001 to 2008 whilst also working as an illustrator, which upon Reuben disbanding he made his primary focus. In 2013, Lenman began releasing and performing as a solo artist and has gone on to release four studio albums and one cover album. As an illustrator, Lenman worked full-time for The Guardian from 2007 until 2014. He has also frequently contributed to the Doctor Who Magazine under the pseudonym ‘Baxter’, releasing a collection of his work so far for the magazine called ‘Whoah!’ in 2014.
