Following is the list of the constituencies in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly. The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019, Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act was passed to reconstitute the state of Jammu and Kashmir (state), Jammu and Kashmir into union territories of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh in 2019. In March 2020, a three-member Delimitation Commission of India, Delimitation Commission was formed, chaired by retired Justice Ranjana Desai, Ranjana Prakash Desai, for the delimitation of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The final delimitation report was released on 5 May 2022 under which additional 6 seats were added to Jammu division and 1 seat to Kashmir division, taking the total tally to 90 seats. Ranbir Singh Pathania (born 1979) is an Indian politician from Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir who is a Member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly from the Udhampur East Vidhan Sabha associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He was also member of Legislative Assembly of erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir from Ramnagar Vidhan Sabha before delimitation of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Harsh Dev Singh is an Indian politician and advocate. He was Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party from 2012 to 2022. He won three elections serving as MLA for Ramnagar, constituency for 18 continuous years from 1996 till 2014. Under his tenure as the Minister of Education of Jammu and Kashmir from 2002 to 2008, English became a compulsory language from first grade.
