Rakuen (album)
is Yui Horie's fourth solo album. Like sky, her third album, Rakuen also had a limited edition version with an alternate album cover and an exclusive photo book. The album includes the ending theme for the anime Jubei-chan 2, "Kokoro Harete Yo mo Akete" and the opening theme for the anime Sister Princess Re Pure Character's Part, "A Girl in Love" (used for DVD release only). Although the other sisters from Sister Princess Re Pure and even Ritsuko Okazaki, who wrote the song herself, have performed the latter song, the version on this album is the only full-length version ever recorded. The rest of the tracks are all original songs. Laputa (band)
Laputa was a Japanese Nagoya kei rock band, active from 1993 to 2004. The band chose its name from the flying island in ''Gulliver's Travels'' and tried to portray a similar unrealistic view of the world with their performance. Their 1997 album ''Emadara'' was named one of the top albums from 1989 to 1998 in a 2004 issue of the music magazine ''Band Yarouze''. History Laputa was formed in July 1993 by aki and Tomoi, high school friends who were previously in the band Ai SICK FACE together. ''Need Your Love'' is the sixth album from the Japanese band Do As Infinity. It was released on February 16, 2005. The first (pre-album) single release from ''Need Your Love'' was "Rakuen", also featured in the fourth movie in the '' InuYasha'' anime series. Several other songs from the album, including "For the Future" and "Be Free", have been featured on Japanese television, as well as ''Yotaka no Yume'' being featured as the opening theme of ''Zoids Genesis''. The Yellow Monkey, sometimes abbreviated as , is a Japanese rock band originally active from 1988 to 2001, before officially disbanding in 2004. They announced their reformation in 2016. The band's name was derived from the ethnic slur that Japanese people look like monkeys, and that Asian people are said to be "yellow" in skin color. The Yellow Monkey is considered an important Japanese rock group, having achieved major success selling 10 million records, including 6.2 million singles. Yuki Uchida
(born November 16, 1975) is a Japanese actress and former idol singer. Following her debut in the drama '' Sono Toki, Heart wa Nusumareta'' (1992), she received her first lead role in the 1994 drama adaption of '' The Girl Who Leapt Through Time''. Uchida became a popular teen idol and began a short-lived music career with the single "Tenca wo Torou! (Uchida no Yabou)", which made her the first female singer in ''Oricon'' history to have their first single debut at the summit. Uchida made her film debut starring in the 1995 adaption of ''Boys Over Flowers''. By the late-1990s, Uchida began to shed her idol image and concentrated on her television career. ''Popcorn'' is the eleventh studio album of the Japanese boy band Arashi. The album was released on October 31, 2012 under their record label J Storm in two editions: a first press/limited edition and a regular edition. Though both versions contains a single CD and the same track list, the first press edition features special packaging of 24P photo booklet ''Until The Popcorn Pops'' and bonus stickers. With more than 750,000 units sold, the album was certified for Triple Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). It was released digitally on February 7, 2020. ''Rakuen'' is a 2017 adventure video game, created by Laura Shigihara. It was built using the RPG Maker XP engine and released on May 10, 2017. It is a sprite-based exploration game, in which text boxes serve as the primary conduit for communication. The name "''Rakuen"'' is translated from Japanese as "paradise." The game is currently available for Mac OS X, Linux, Windows, and Nintendo Switch. The game has an estimated run time of around 10–12 hours and is completely free of combat. On May 10, 2022, the fifth anniversary of the game's release, Shigihara announced on her live Twitch channel that the game was in the process of being ported to mobile operating systems. A Nintendo Switch port, developed by Leeble Forest, was released on March 23, 2023. A direct spinoff, '' Mr. Saitou'', was released on March 24, 2023. , stylised as "LAKuEN", is a song by Japanese singer Ken Hirai. It was released on January 19, 2000 as his eighth single, and became his biggest hit since his debut in 1995. Background and development "Lakuen" was Hirai's first release in two years, since the single "Love Love Love" in 1998. Hirai's debut single "Precious Junk" in 1995 charted at number 50 on Oricon's singles charts, but since then he had not charted on Oricon's singles chart.
