Rajni (film)
''Rajni'' is a 2023 Indian thriller film written and directed by Vinil Scariah Varghese. It stars Kalidas Jayaram in the lead role, alongside Namitha Pramod, Reba Monica John, Saiju Kurup, Ashwin Kumar, Karunakaran, and Shaun Romy. The film was simultaneously shot in the Malayalam and Tamil-languages with the latter version was titled as ''Aval Peyar Rajni'' (). Plot Siblings Naveen and Gowri find themselves entangled in a web of chaos and danger with a looming life threat after the death of Gowri's husband, Abhijith. The story unravels a mysterious quest to uncover the enigmatic identity of Rajni. Kalidas Jayaram
Kalidas Jayaram (born 16 December 1993) is an Indian actor who appears predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam films. The son of film actors Jayaram and Parvathy, Kalidas made his debut in the Malayalam film '' Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal'' (2000) at the age of six. Later, he starred in '' Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum'' (2003), which won him the National Film Award for Best Child Artist. Early and personal life Kalidas was born the elder of two children, to actors Jayaram and Parvathy in Perumbavoor, Kerala, India. He has a younger sister Malavika Jayaram. Anwar Rasheed is an Indian film director and producer who works in Malayalam films. He made his debut in 2005 with '' Rajamanikyam''. Wrap (filmmaking)
Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap", has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming. Since the 1920s, filmmakers have been using this phrase when principal photography is concluded and the film is ready to go into post-production. At that point, it is traditional to hold a wrap party for the cast and crew of the film. This marks the end of the actors' collaboration with each other, the director, producer, and crew on the film (except for possible dubbing or pick-ups). However the leading cast members may be called in several months or years later to help promote the film when it is ready to be released. The long-commonplace phrase "Let's wrap it up" or "Time to wrap things up" is the most likely origin. Pollachi is a town and municipality in Coimbatore district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is the administrative headquarters of Pollachi taluk.
