Ragna Hørbye
Ragna Hørbye, née Heyerdahl (15 September 1861 – 8 December 1950) was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Left Party. She was born in Furnes as a daughter of Harald Heyerdahl (1824–1886) and Marie Lithander. She took education, and studied languages abroad. In 1889 she married ophthalmologist Ludvig Hørbye (1856–1925). Her daughter Ragna Heyerdahl Hørbye married Colonel Gudbrand Østbye. She was a member of Oslo city council for three terms, from 1920 to 1928. She was a central board member of the Liberal Left Party from 1918 to 1929. She was a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from 1925 to 1930. In 1924 she was elected as the third deputy on the Liberal Left/Conservative joint ballot, and fourth deputy in 1927. In 1930 her party did not field a joint ballot, but its own ballot, and Hørbye was the second candidate behind Anton Wilhelm Brøgger. Neither were elected. Vår Frelsers Gravlund
The Cemetery of Our Saviour ( no, Vår Frelsers gravlund) is a cemetery in Oslo, Norway, located north of Hammersborg in Gamle Aker district. It is located adjacent to the older Old Aker Cemetery and was created in 1808 as a result of the great famine and cholera epidemic of the Napoleonic Wars. Its grounds were extended in 1911. The cemetery has been full and thus closed for new graves since 1952, with interment only being allowed in existing family graves. The cemetery includes five sections, including ''Æreslunden'', Norway's main honorary burial ground, and the western, southern, eastern and northern sections. The Cemetery of Our Saviour became the preferred cemetery of bourgeois and other upper-class families. It has many grand tombstones and is the most famous cemetery in Norway. Anton Wilhelm Brøgger
Anton Wilhelm Brøgger (11 October 1884 – 29 August 1951) was a Norwegian archaeologist. Personal life He was born in Stockholm as a son of professor of geology Waldemar Christofer Brøgger (1851–1940) and Antonie Scheel Siewers (1854–1933). He was a grandson of the book printer Anton Wilhelm Brøgger. In September 1909 he married Inger Ursin (1882–1941). He had the sons Waldemar Christofer Brøgger (1911–1991) and Niels Christian Brøgger (1914–1966), and through the former, the grandson Jan Brøgger. Career Brøgger finished his secondary education in 1903, but his higher education was sporadic. Without a formal examination, he wrote the paper ''Øxer av Nøstvettypen'', which was published in 1905 by the Norwegian Geological Survey. He participated in the archaeological investigations of Svarthola outside Stavanger, and wrote a report on the first paleolithic kitchen midden found in Norway, published in the ''Annals'' of Stavanger Museum for 1907. Liberal Left Party
The Free-minded Liberal Party ( no, Frisinnede Venstre) was a political party in Norway founded in 1909 by the conservative-liberal faction of the Liberal Party. The party cooperated closely with the Conservative Party and participated in several short-lived governments, including two headed by Free-minded Prime Ministers. In the 1930s the party changed its name to the Free-minded People's Party ( no, Frisinnede Folkeparti) and initiated cooperation with nationalist groups. The party contested its last election in 1936, and was not reorganised in 1945.
