Mahaveer Raghunathan (born 17 November 1998) is an Indian racing driver. He is currently competing in the Italian GT Championship with Lazarus Corse and is also an AMR Junior Team driver. Career Junior series Raghunathan started his racing career in karting in 2012, where he remained active until 2013. He also made his formula racing debut in 2012 in four races of the JK Racing Asia Series for the Meco Racing team. In 2013, Raghunathan competed in the MRF Challenge Formula 1600, finishing sixth. Madabusi Santanam Raghunathan
Madabusi Santanam Raghunathan FRS is an Indian mathematician. He is currently a Distinguished Professor of Mathematics at the Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (CEBS) in Mumbai, India. Previously, he was the Head of the National Centre for Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai. Formerly Professor of eminence at TIFR in Homi Bhabha Chair. Raghunathan received his PhD in Mathematics from (TIFR), University of Mumbai; his advisor was M. S. Narasimhan. Raghunathan is a Fellow of the Royal Society, of the Third World Academy of Sciences, and of the American Mathematical Society and a recipient of the civilian honour of Padma Bhushan. He has also been on the Mathematical Sciences jury for the Infosys Prize from 2016. Viswanathan Raghunathan (born 1954) is an academic, businessman, author, and columnist. He is currently director of the Schulich School of Business (York University, Toronto), India (Hyderabad Campus). Since 2013, for three consecutive years, Raghunathan has been featured in the list of top 50 thinkers in management across India and the Indian diaspora. Since 2005, he is also the CEO of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation. Earlier he was president, ING Vysya Bank (2001–2004) and managing director, GMR Industries Ltd (2007–2008), GMR Group. Raghunathan Srianand (born February 1, 1969) is an Indian Cosmology, cosmologist, Astrophysics, astrophysicist and a scientist at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA). Known for his research on Redshift-space distortions, redshift evolution on the cosmic microwave background radiation, Srianand is a member of the International Astronomical Union and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. Sudha Ragunathan is an Indian Carnatic vocalist, singer and composer. She was conferred the Kalaimamani award by the Government of Tamil Nadu in 1994, Padma Shri (2004) and Padma Bhushan (2015) by the Government of India, and Sangeetha Kalanidhi by Madras Music Academy in 2013. Assassination Of Lalith Athulathmudali
Lalith Athulathmudali, the former Cabinet Minister of Trade, National Security, Agriculture, Education and Deputy Minister of Defence of Sri Lanka was killed at 8:10 p.m. Sri Lanka Time (2.10 p.m. UTC) on 23 April 1993 in Kirulapana. Athulathmudali was fatally shot while addressing a gathering, approximately 4 weeks ahead of the May 1993 Provincial Council elections for the Western Province. The investigation by Sri Lanka Police and Scotland Yard separately concluded that the assassination was carried out by a Tamil youth named Appiah Balakrishnan ''alias'' Ragunathan, who was affiliated to the LTTE. However these findings were widely disputed by people due to the political context of that time. Ragunathan "Raj" Rajkumar (born 1963) is the George Westinghouse Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
