Radio m2o (stylized "radiom2o") is Italy's main 24-hour electronic music radio station, owned by the Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso, ultimately owned by Exor (the Agnelli-family). It was founded in 2002. The station plays dance, EDM, trance, techno, house and sometimes urban music, among various others. The station is broadcast free to air on Hot Bird and digital television channel 715. FM Broadcasting
FM broadcasting is a method of radio broadcasting that uses frequency modulation (FM) of the radio broadcast carrier wave. Invented in 1933 by American engineer Edwin Armstrong, wide-band FM is used worldwide to transmit high fidelity, high-fidelity sound over broadcast radio. FM broadcasting offers higher fidelity—more accurate reproduction of the original program sound—than other broadcasting techniques, such as AM broadcasting. It is also less susceptible to Electromagnetic interference, common forms of interference, having less static and popping sounds than are often heard on AM. Gabriele "Gabry" Ponte (; born 20 April 1973) is an Italian musician, DJ and producer, best known as a member of Eiffel 65. He represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with his song " Tutta l'Italia", qualifying for the grand final. Career 1998–2003 In 1998 he produced Blue (Da Ba Dee), the debut single with his band Eiffel 65, which topped the worldwide charts and sold over 8 million copies; their first album ''Europop'' sold another 4 million copies. Matthias Paul (; born 16 December 1971), known professionally as Paul van Dyk () is a German DJ, record producer and musician. Van Dyk was the first artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination in the newly added category of Best Dance/Electronic album for his 2003 release '' Reflections''. He was the first DJ to be named number one by ''Mixmag'' in 2005. By 2008, he had sold over 3 million albums worldwide. ''A State of Trance'' (often abbreviated as ASOT) is a Dutch Trance music, trance radio show, hosted by Armin van Buuren and co-producer Ruben de Ronde, that first aired in June 2001.
