Nałęcz Coat Of Arms
''Nałęcz'' () is a Polish coat of arms. It was used by associated ''szlachta'' families in the Kingdom of Poland (see Kingdom of Poland (1320–1385), and Kingdom of Poland (1385–1569)) and the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth (1569–1795). History Nałęcz is a Polish coat of arms from the 12th century (like the Abdank, Leliwa, Radwan, and Bogorya coats of arms) that represented unity and harmony. It was used by the Gembiccy, Ostrorogowie, Szamotulscy, Chełmicki, Czarnkowscy, Slizewicz, Raczyńscy, Raczkowski, Dworniccy, Sadowski, Łowińscy, Grąbczewscy and other families. It is traditionally described as a silver shawl, tied, on a red background. Most versions had the shawl tied downwards; some were tied upwards. Some families showed the woman at the top blindfolded. Tadeusz Gajl (born 1940 in Vilnius, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian-born Polish artist and graphic designer, notable for his contemporary illustrations on the coats of arms borne by the historical nobility (''szlachta'') of Poland. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in 1966, he worked as a design specialist for the textile industry in Walim (1965-1966) and in Białystok (1966-1974). Between 1975 and the martial law in Poland of 1981 he worked as head of graphics for the ''"Kontrasty"'' monthly, editor-in-chief and graphics for the weekly ''"Plus"'' (1989-1990). In 1990 he was also one of the co-founders of ''"Tygodnik Białostocki"'', a Białystok-based local weekly. Krzysztof Raczkowski (29 October 1970 – 18 August 2005), also known as Docent or Doc, was a Polish drummer, best known as a member of Polish death metal bands Vader (1988–2005) and Dies Irae. He also appeared as a guest or temporary musician in Sweet Noise, Hunter, Slashing Death, Unborn, Moon, and Overdub Trio. Originally, drum sessions for Vader's album, ''The Beast'' took place at Hertz Studio in Białystok in February 2004, however, Raczkowski fell down a flight of stairs, causing arm and leg injuries.
