Rachel Corbett (radio Presenter)
Rachel Corbett (born 11 March 1981) is an Australian podcaster, television and radio presenter. She hosts a number of podcasts, and is a weekly panelist and fill-in host for Network 10's '' The Project''. Career Radio Corbett has worked for several radio stations in front of and behind the microphone including 104.1, Triple M Melbourne and Sydney and 92.9 in Perth. Television In 2001, Corbett appeared on the first season of '' Big Brother Australia''. She entered the house as an intruder and was evicted four days later. Later that year, she and eight other housemates appeared on a special episode of ''The Weakest Link'', where she was the second contestant to be voted off. In 2014, Corbett began appearing regularly as a guest panelist and TV presenter. The Nullarbor Nymph
The Nullarbor Nymph was a hoax perpetrated in Australia between 1971 and 1972 that involved supposed sightings of a half-naked woman living amongst kangaroos on the Nullarbor Plain. Events The first report on 26 December 1971 was by professional kangaroo shooters from Eucla, Western Australia, Eucla in Western Australia, near the border with South Australia. They claimed to have seen a blonde, White people, white woman amongst some kangaroos, and backed their story with grainy amateur film showing a woman wearing kangaroo skins and holding a kangaroo by the tail. After further sightings were claimed, the story was reported around the world, and journalists descended upon the town of Eucla which had a population of 8 people at the time. ''Have You Been Paying Attention?'' (abbreviated as HYBPA?) is an Australian panel game television quiz show on Network 10. The series, which is produced by Working Dog Productions, is a mix of news and comedy which sees host Tom Gleisner quiz five guests (of whom Ed Kavalee and Sam Pang are permanent panellists) on the week's top news stories. Despite a disappointing start in ratings, and initially a change in timeslot and format, the series has proven to be a consistent performer for Network Ten, having its ratings increase with successive seasons and receiving critical acclaim.
