Punggol Group Representation Constituency
The Punggol Group Representation Constituency is a four-member Group Representation Constituency (GRC) in the north-eastern region of Singapore. It consists of Punggol West SMC, as well as the Punggol Coast and Punggol Shore wards of the Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC. The current Members of Parliament are Gan Kim Yong, Janil Puthucheary, Sun Xueling and Yeo Wan Ling from the People's Action Party (PAP). History Before the 2025 general election, Punggol GRC was formed by merging the entirety of Punggol West SMC with the Punggol Coast and Punggol Shore wards of the Pasir Ris–Punggol GRC. This was done ostensibly due to population growth in Punggol, and to better reflect the geographical location of the town. Sengkang (, , ) is a Planning Areas of Singapore, planning area and New towns of Singapore, residential town located in the North-East Region, Singapore, North-East Region of Singapore. Seletar
Seletar ( ) is an area located in the north-east of Singapore. Its name can also refer to the Seletar Planning Area (as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority), situated in the North-East Region of Singapore. The place name was derived from the Malay subgroup who were indigenous to the area, the ''Orang Seletar''. It shares boundaries with the planning areas of Sengkang to the south, Punggol to the east, Yishun and Simpang to the west, as well as the Straits of Johor to the north. Formerly Royal Air Force Station Seletar Royal Air Force military airfield site, the area now houses a new S$60 million Seletar Aerospace Park that spans 140 hectares. Punggol ( or ) is a Planning Areas of Singapore, planning area and New towns of Singapore, new town situated on the Tanjong Punggol peninsula in the North-East Region, Singapore, North-East Region of Singapore. The town directly borders Sengkang to the south and shares riverine boundaries with the planning area of Seletar, as well as Yishun to the west and Pasir Ris to the east. Punggol LRT Line
The Punggol LRT line (PGLRT) is a elevated automated guideway transit line in Punggol, Singapore. The Driverless train, driverless system consists of 15 stations on two loops, with Punggol MRT/LRT station, Punggol station serving as the interchange for both loops and linking the line to the North East MRT line. It is the third Light Rail Transit (Singapore), Light Rail Transit (LRT) line in Singapore and the second LRT line to be operated by SBS Transit. The PGLRT was conceived as part of the Punggol 21 development plan. Punggol Coast MRT Station
Punggol Coast MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North East line (NEL) in northern Punggol, Singapore. The station is the terminus of the NEL and serves the Punggol Digital District alongside the new campus of the Singapore Institute of Technology. It is also close to Coney Island and is planned to serve the Punggol Coast Bus Interchange. The station was built as part of the North East Line extension (NELe), which was first announced in 2013. Plans for the NELe construction were brought forward from 2030 to 2023 in conjunction with development plans for the area. Punggol MRT/LRT station is a Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) interchange station in Punggol, Singapore. It is an interchange station between the North East Line (NEL) and Punggol LRT (PGLRT), and one of the two MRT stations located within Punggol planning area. Stretching across Punggol Central, the station is situated next to Punggol Temporary Bus Interchange and the retail development of Waterway Point. The Chua Chu Kang Group Representation Constituency is a four-member Group Representation Constituency located in the western area of Singapore. The GRC has four wards: Chua Chu Kang, Tengah, Keat Hong and Brickland. Only a small portion of the constituency is residential, with most of its area consisting of the Western Water Catchment. Harpreet Singh Nehal SC (born 4 February 1966) is a Singaporean lawyer and politician who is a co-managing partner of Audent Chambers LLC.
