Prince Felix Of Denmark
Count Felix of Monpezat (born Prince Felix of Denmark; 22 July 2002) is a member of the Danish royal family. He is the younger son of Prince Joachim and his first wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg. He is a grandson of Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik, and a nephew of King Frederik X. Felix is currently seventh in the line of succession to the Danish throne. Biography Felix was born a Prince of Denmark at Rigshospitalet, the Copenhagen University Hospital in Copenhagen, Denmark on 22 July 2002. When his father met the press following the birth, he joked that the baby could be named anything from Ib to Nebuchadnezzar. Prince Joachim of Denmark, Count of Monpezat, (; Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian; born 7 June 1969) is a member of the Danish royal family. The younger son of Queen Margrethe II, he is fifth in the line of succession to the Danish throne, following the four children of his elder brother King Frederik X. Early life Prince Joachim was born on 7 June 1969 at Rigshospitalet, part of the Copenhagen University Hospital in Copenhagen. The Danish gymnasium offers a 3-year general academically-oriented upper secondary programme which builds on the 9th-10th form of the '' Folkeskole'' and leads to the upper secondary school exit examination (the ''studentereksamen''). Count of Monpezat (Danish language, Danish: ''Greve af Monpezat''), or Countess of Monpezat (Danish: ''Grevinde af Monpezat'') when the holder is female, is a hereditary title of Danish nobility. It was granted on 30 April 2008 by Margrethe II of Denmark, Queen Margrethe II to her two sons, Frederik X, Crown Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim of Denmark, Prince Joachim, and their legitimate Patrilineality, patrilineal (male-line) descendants. The title is derived from the French title of "comte de Laborde de Monpezat", which was used by Frederik and Joachim's father, Prince Henrik of Denmark, Prince Henrik. His family started using this title as a title of pretense in Third French Republic, republican France in the late 19th century. Georg Jensen A/S (originally ''Georg Jensens Sølvsmedie A/S'') is a Danish designer company with a focus on silverware. It was founded in 1904 by silversmith Georg Jensen. In December 2023, the company was acquired by the Fiskars Group for 155 million euros. History After finishing at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 1892, Georg Jensen tried his hand at clay sculptures, before moving to the applied arts. He began as a modeller at the Bing & Grøndahl porcelain factory and, in 1898 he had small pottery workshop. Slagelse () is a town on Zealand (Denmark), Zealand, Denmark. The town is the seat of Slagelse Municipality, and is the biggest town of the municipality. It is located 15 km east of Korsør, 16 km north-east of Skælskør, 33 km south-east of Kalundborg and 14 km west of Sorø.
