The speaker of the House of Representatives () is one of the 150 members of the House of Representatives (Netherlands), House of Representatives of the Netherlands, elected to lead the meetings of the House. Jennifer Nicolien van Vroonhoven-Kok (born 9 April 1971) is a Dutch politician who leads the New Social Contract. Gideon "Gidi" Markuszower (born 27 October 1977) is an Israeli– Dutch politician of the Party for Freedom (PVV). He became a member of the Netherlands Senate on 9 June 2015. In the 2017 Dutch general election he was elected to the House of Representatives, and gave up his Senate seat. He was fourth on the Party for Freedom list in the 2023 Dutch general election, and therefore continued his term as a member of the House of Representatives. Henk Vermeer (born 21 August 1966 ) is a Dutch politician of the Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB). Early life and career Vermeer was born in Uddel, and he has five younger siblings.
