Khorloogiin Choibalsan (8 February 1895 – 26 January 1952) was a Mongolian politician who served as the leader of the Mongolian People's Republic as the Prime Minister of Mongolia, chairman of the Council of Ministers (premier) from 1939 until his death in 1952. Bogd Khan Mountain (; ) is a mountain in Mongolia that overlooks the nation's capital, Ulaanbaatar, from a height of to the south of the city. World Heritage status Bogd Khan Mountain, along with Mongolia's other sacred mountains Burkhan Khaldun and Otgontenger, was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List on August 6, 1996, in the Cultural category. World Heritage sites are those that exhibit universal natural or cultural significance, or both.
