National Regeneration Movement
The National Regeneration Movement (), commonly referred to by its syllabic abbreviation Morena (), is a major left-wing political party in Mexico, often described as oscillating between social democracy and populism. As of 2023, it is the largest political party in Mexico by number of members; it has been the ruling party since 2018, and it won a second term in the 2024 general election. The party's name also alludes to Mexico's Catholic national patroness: the Virgin of Guadalupe, known as ''La Morena''.
