Prepon The Assyrian
Laura Prepon ( ; born March 7, 1980) is an American actress and television director. She rose to fame with her role as Donna Pinciotti in the Fox sitcom ''That '70s Show'' (1998–2006). She is also known for portraying Alex Vause in the Netflix comedy-drama series ''Orange Is the New Black'' (2013–2019). Prepon made her film debut in 2001 with the independent drama ''Southlander''. Her other films include the romantic drama ''Come Early Morning'' (2006), the comedy ''Lay the Favorite'' (2012), the thriller '' The Girl on the Train'' (2016), and the drama '' The Hero'' (2017). Early life Prepon was born in Watchung, New Jersey. She is the youngest of five children of Marjorie (née Coll), a high school teacher and gourmet home chef, and Michael Prepon, an orthopedic surgeon. Watchung () is a borough in Somerset County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, located approximately west of New York City. As of the 2020 United States census, the borough's population was 6,449, an increase of 648 (+11.2%) from the 2010 census count of 5,801, which in turn reflected an increase of 188 (+3.3%) from the 5,613 counted in the 2000 census. It is located within the Raritan Valley region. Watchung Hills Regional High School is a regional comprehensive high school, comprehensive state school, public Secondary education in the United States, high school and school district serving students in portions of Somerset County, New Jersey, Somerset and Morris County, New Jersey, Morris Counties in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Students from Warren Township, New Jersey, Warren Township and from the neighboring communities of Watchung, New Jersey, Watchung, and Green Brook Township, New Jersey, Green Brook in Somerset County and Long Hill Township, New Jersey, Long Hill Township in Morris County attend the school. Elizabeth Caroline Orton (born 14 December 1970) is an English musician known for her "folktronica" sound, which mixes elements of folk and electronica.
