Joseph Wayne McVey IV (born January 19, 1977), better known by his stage names Z-Ro and the Mo City Don, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas. He was named one of America's most underrated rappers by ''The New York Times'' in 2007. Early life and career Z-Ro was born Joseph Wayne McVey IV in Houston's South Park, Houston, South Park neighborhood on January 19, 1977. The ''Billboard'' 200 is a record chart ranking the 200 most popular music albums and EPs in the United States. It is published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine and is frequently used to convey the popularity of an artist or groups of artists. Chad Lamont Butler (December 29, 1973 – December 4, 2007), better known by his stage name Pimp C, was an American rapper and record producer. He was best known for his work with Bun B as one half of the hip-hop duo Underground Kingz (UGK). Signing to Jive Records in 1992, UGK released their major-label debut album '' Too Hard to Swallow'' to critical acclaim. The group followed this with their second and third major-label albums '' Super Tight'' in 1994 and '' Ridin' Dirty'' in 1996, both of which charted in the ''Billboard'' 200 to further success. Production was handled by Mr. Lee, Bigg Tyme, J. Moses, Cory Mo, Tone Capone and Z-Ro himself. It features guest appearances from Lil' Keke, Mike D, Mýa, Paul Wall and Slim Thug. The album chronicles the life story side of Z-Ro, like most of his albums. He stated that the streets would be hooked to the name of it.
