Portuguese in Germany () are citizens and residents of Germany who are of Portuguese people, Portuguese descent. The 250th Infantry Division (), better known as the Blue Division (, ), was a unit of volunteers from Francoist Spain operating from 1941 to 1943 within the German Army () on the Eastern Front during World War II. Ahlten is a village in northern Germany with a population of around 5500. It belongs to the administrative district of the city of Lehrte, five kilometres east.
