Porsha Upazila
Porsha Upazila () is an Upazila of Naogaon District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Geography Porsha is located at , and borders West Bengal, India. It has 30,773 households, and total area 252.83 km2. One of the principal towns, Nithpur, lies on the Indian border. Porsha Upazila is bounded by Sapahar Upazila on the north, Patnitala and Mohadevpur Upazilas on the east, Gomostapur and Niamatpur Upazilas on the south, Habibpur and Barmangola CD Blocks in Malda district, West Bengal, India, on the west. Climate Porsha's climate differs from Rajshahi due to its lack of precipitation to be classified as a tropical wet and dry climate. Instead, under the Köppen climate classification, it is classified as a humid subtropical climate (Cwa). Porsha Olayiwola (/Help:IPA/English, ˈpɔɹʃəː ˈəʊl ˌji.wɔ ː lɑː/ por-shuh o-la-yi-war-la; born June 11, 1988) is a Black people, Black United States, American poet based in Boston, Massachusetts. Early life Of Nigerian Americans, Nigerian and Black American descent (her father being a Yoruba people, Yoruba man from Lagos and her mother being Black American), Olayiwola was born in Chicago. Porsha Phillips (born January 13, 1988) is an American professional women's basketball player, formerly with the San Antonio Silver Stars of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Porsha Phillips finished her basketball career in Israel, playing for Ramat Hasharon Club. Early life and education Phillips attended Redan High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia and graduated 2006. Porsha Stubbs-Smith is a Turks and Caicos Islander politician, who served as the Minister of Tourism, Environment, Heritage and Culture. Career Stubbs-Smith was elected to the Turks and Caicos Islands House of Assembly at the 2012 general election in The Bight constituency for the Progressive National Party. Initially, she was Minister for Environment and Home Affairs, before becoming Minister of Health and Human Services.
