Pondi, also known as Langam, is a Keram language spoken in Langam village () of Keram Rural LLG, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea. The majority of Pondi speakers are ethnic-Pondis. Due to the small community in which Pondi is spoken, the language has no known dialect. The most notable language variation in Pondi is based on age as the older generations are more fluent. It is related both Ulwa and Mwaki. Julius Gbabojor Pondi (born 19 November 1978) is a Nigerian politician, member of the House of Representatives of Nigeria since 2015. In the House of Representatives, he represents Burutu Federal constituency of Delta State. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). Politics In 2007 Pondi was elected to represent Ogulagha Ward 19 in the Burutu Legislative House, where he was subsequently elected into the office of the Leader of the House. Western Sydney Lakes
Western Sydney Lakes is an area located in the suburb of Castlereagh near Penrith in Western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was previously known as the Penrith Lakes until 2022. It features lakes and parklands as well as recreational facilities. The lakes contain Penrith Beach, nicknamed Pondi by the locals, which is an artificial inland beach. The area also contains the Sydney International Regatta Centre which was one of the first parts of the Penrith Lakes Scheme to be completed.
