The political status of the Azores is defined by the Political-Administrative Statute of the Autonomous Region of the Azores (, EPARAA), which acts as the standard legal constitutional framework for the autonomy of the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. Flag Of The Azores
The Flag of the Azores () is the regional flag of the Azores, Portuguese Autonomous Region of the Azores. It is a rectangular bicolour with a field unevenly divided into blue on the hoist, and white on the fly. It was established on 10 April 1979 by the Legislative Assembly of the Azores, Regional Assembly of the Azores, being based in the Flag of Portugal#1830-1910, National Flag of Portugal used between 1830 and 1910. Horta (Azores)
Horta (), officially the Very Loyal Horta City (), is a city in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores encompassing the island of Faial, being coterminous with the Horta Municipality (). Revolution Council (Portugal)
The Revolutionary Council (''Conselho da Revolução'') of Portugal, was created on 14 March 1975 by the Assembly of the Armed Forces Movement (''Assembleia do Movimento das Forças Armadas'') with the goal of achieving the objectives of that movement's program as fast as possible and to provide the Portuguese people the security, the confidence, and social peace necessary achieve those governmental reforms. João Paulo II Airport
Ponta Delgada–João Paulo II Airport , named after Pope John Paul II, is an international airport located on the island of São Miguel, in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. António Borges Coutinho Order of Liberty, GOL (3 May 1923 in Lisbon – 3 February 2011 in Lisbon) was a Portuguese lawyer and politician. Biography António Eduardo Borges Coutinho de Medeiros was born in Lisbon on 3 May 1923, the second son of the third Marquis of Praia e Monforte. He was the youngest brother of Duarte Borges Coutinho, who was president of sports club S.L. Benfica. Frente! (or Frente) is an Australian folk-pop and indie pop group which originally formed in 1989. The original line-up consisted of Simon Austin on guitar and backing vocals, Angie Hart on lead vocals, Tim O'Connor on bass guitar (later replaced by Bill McDonald), and Mark Picton on drums (later replaced by Alastair Barden, then by Peter Luscombe).
