Polish SuperCup
The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2024, the Polish Super Cup has been played 34 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant has been Legia Warsaw, as they have played sixteen final games and lost their eight following finals between 2012 and 2021. Unlike the Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time, the match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out. Jagiellonia Białystok are the current holders of the trophy. The Polish Football Association ( PZPN) is the governing body of association football in Poland. It organizes the Polish football leagues (without the ), the national cups, and manages the men's and women's national teams. It also runs the national futsal and beach soccer competitions. It is based in the Polish capital of Warsaw. History The fully-independent federation was established on 20 December 1919 subsuming the autonomous Polish Football Union (PFU) that was part of the disintegrated Austrian Football Union. Lechia Gdańsk
Lechia Gdańsk () is a Polish football (soccer), football club based in Gdańsk. As of the 2025–26 Ekstraklasa, 2025–26 season, they compete in the Ekstraklasa. The club was founded in 1945 by people Polish population transfers (1944–1946), expelled from Lviv, Lwów, who were supporters of Poland's oldest football team Lechia Lwów, founded in 1903. The 1992–93 Ekstraklasa (then known as I liga) was the 58th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927. It was contested by 18 teams. Siarka Tarnobrzeg made their first Ekstraklasa appearance in the club's history. Lubin
Lubin (; ) is a city in Lower Silesian Voivodeship in south-western Poland. Zagłębie Lubin S.A. () is a Polish professional association football, football club based in Lubin. Founded in 1945 as ''OMTUR Lubin'', the club competes in the Ekstraklasa.
