''Platinum'' is an American Drama (film and television), drama series which aired on UPN from April 14 to May 13, 2003. Created by Sofia Coppola and John Ridley, the series is a family saga that follows two brothers who own and operate a recording industry, record company. Premise Brothers and record industry moguls Jackson and Grady Rhames are the archetype of rags-to-riches success after building their company, Sweetback Entertainment, from the ground up. Robert Greenblatt (born 1959/1960) is an American television executive, former chairman of NBC Entertainment and former chairman of WarnerMedia Entertainment. The Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) is a labor union representing film, television, radio, and new media writers.
