Plain White T's
The Plain White T's are an American pop rock band from Lombard, Illinois, formed in 1997 by high school friends Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, and Ken Fletcher, and joined a short time later by Steve Mast. The group had a mostly underground following in Chicago basements, clubs, and bars in its early years. The band is best known for their number-one hit song " Hey There Delilah", which achieved platinum status in 2007 and earned two Grammy nominations. The songs " 1, 2, 3, 4" and " Rhythm of Love" were also certified platinum in 2009 and 2011 respectively. History Formation (1997–1999) The Plain White T's was formed in Lombard in early 1997. Irish Albums Chart
The Irish Albums Chart is the Irish music industry standard albums popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). The charts were previously compiled on behalf of IRMA by Chart-Track, and have been compiled by the Official Charts Company since 2017. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' Point of sale systems and certain digital retailers. All major record stores and over forty independents submit data for the charts, accounting for over 80% of the market, according to Chart-Track. A new chart is compiled and released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the previous Thursday (i.e., the day before issue). Every Second Counts (album)
''Every Second Counts'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Plain White T's, released on September 12, 2006. It is the first Plain White T's album to be released on Hollywood Records along with Fearless Records. Its title is derived from a lyric in the song "Let Me Take You There". The album peaked at number ten on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart. The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in March 2025. Use in media The song "Our Time Now" was used in most commercials and trailers for the ABC Family show ''Greek'', and was performed by the band (along with "Hey There Delilah") in the episode "The Rusty Nail". The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States. Its members consist of record labels and distributors that the RIAA says "create, manufacture, and/or distribute approximately 85% of all legally sold recorded music in the United States". The Heatseekers charts were "Breaking and Entering" music charts issued weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine. The Heatseekers Albums and the Heatseekers Songs charts were introduced by ''Billboard'' in 1991 with the purpose of highlighting the sales by new and developing musical recording artists. Albums and songs appearing on Top Heatseekers would also concurrently appear on the ''Billboard'' 200 or ''Billboard'' Hot 100. ''All That We Needed'' is the third studio album by American rock band Plain White T's, released on January 25, 2005. This is Plain White T's second album with Fearless Records. In July 2007, after the release of '' Every Second Counts'' (2006), the song "Hey There Delilah" was re-issued as a single and sold unexpectedly well, reaching number one on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The album was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It is the first album without Ken Fletcher and Steve Mast who were replaced by Tim Lopez and Mike Retondo and De'mar Hamilton as their new drummer. Fearless Records
Fearless Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 1994. Fearless is based in Culver City, California, and is best known for its early pop punk moments captured in the ''Fearless Flush Sampler'' and ''Punk Bites'' releases, as well as additional releases by bands such as Bigwig and Dynamite Boy; and later Sugarcult; Plain White T's; The Aquabats; Amely; and post-hardcore releases by At the Drive-In and Anatomy of a Ghost.
