Katarzyna Piter (; born 16 February 1991) is a Polish professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. In May 2014, she reached her career-high ranking of No. 95 in singles and in July 2022, No. 66 in doubles. She has won three doubles titles on the WTA Tour and one WTA 125 doubles title, as well as eight singles and 26 doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. Career In July 2013, at the Palermo Ladies Open, Piter won her first title on the WTA Tour. She and partner Kristina Mladenovic upset Karolína and Kristýna Plíšková in the final, in a super-tiebreak. Partnered with Fanny Stollár, she also won the doubles title at the 2023 Budapest Grand Prix, defeating Jessie Aney and Anna Sisková inna champions tiebreak in the final. Eurípedes Fernandes (24 April 1940 – 4 February 2022), better known as Píter, was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Career Píter began his career at América de Rio Preto, where he played until 1960. He arrived at Comercial de Ribeirão Preto the following year, and there, he became one of the greatest in the club's history, earning the nickname "Rocha Negra" (Black Rock). He was named by Pelé as the best defender he had faced, in addition to defending the Brazil national team in the 1963 South American Championship, playing in the match against Ecuador. ''Piter'' () is a novel written by Russian author Shimun Vrochek. ''Piter'' is part of Universe of Metro 2033, a long-running series of post-apocalyptic short stories, novellas, and novels, spanning a variety of genres. The works are written by several different authors. ''Piter'' was originally published in February 2010. Although there is currently no English version of the book, ''Piter'' has been translated into a number of other European languages, such as German, Polish and Spanish. The novel was translated to Polish by Paweł Podmiotko. The book itself is different from Dmitry Glukhovsky's original works, giving the reader a look at what happened after the Catastrophe in another part of Russia, whilst maintaining the original ideas and atmosphere behind Metro 2033. U-Piter () was a Russian rock band from Saint-Petersburg. The group was formed by Vyacheslav Butusov in 2001. The group disbanded in 2017. History The band was formed on October 11, 2001, with the original members being Vyacheslav Butusov (former lead singer of Nautilus Pompilius), Yuri Kasparyan (former lead guitarist of Kino), Oleg Sakmarov (former member of Aquarium and Kolibri) and Evgeny Kulakov.
