The 2010 Piazza di Siena – CSIO Rome was the 2010 edition of the CSIO Rome, the Italian official show jumping horse show, at the ''Piazza di Siena'' in Rome. It was held as Concours de Saut International, CSIO 5*. The first horse show were held 1922 at the Piazza di Siena, in 1926 it was an international horse show. Since 1928 Rome is the location of the Italian official show jumping horse show (CSIO = Concours de Saut International Officiel). 2010 is the 78th edition of the CSIO Rome. The 2010 edition of the CSIO Rome was held between May 27, 2010 and May 30, 2010. The main sponsor of the Piazza di Siena 2010 horse show is SNAI. Elizabeth Madden (née Patton; born 20 November 1963) is an American Olympic champion equestrian competing in show jumping. She has two Olympic golds and one silver in team jumping, and an individual bronze. She won the FEI Show Jumping World Cup twice; won two silvers and two bronzes at World Championships; and won two golds, one silver and two bronzes at the Pan American Games. She was the first American to break into the international top three show jumping ranking, and the first woman to win over one million dollars in show jumping prize money. Janne Friederike Meyer (born 12 January 1981 in Hamburg) is a German rider who competes in show jumping. She was part of the German team winning the gold medal at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games. In 2012 Meyer participated in the Summer Olympics in London as part of the German show jumping team with her horse Lambrasco. As of 31 May 2012 she is ranked 47th in the Rolex World Rankings.
