Philippines National Volleyball Teams In AVC And FIVB Club Tournaments
The Philippine National Volleyball Federation sent representative teams in the 2021 Asian Men's and Women's Club Volleyball Championships under the name of Rebisco and Choco Mucho, brands of its sponsor Republic Biscuit Corporation. The teams don't belong to a domestic league with its players derived from the pool of the Philippine men's and women's national teams. The men's team will play as a club again representing the Philippines at the 2025 AVC Men's Volleyball Nations Cup. History PSL All Stars The Philippines under the previous national federation, Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas (LVP) has been represented by non-club teams in official FIVB and AVC tournaments. 2025 AVC Men's Champions League
The 2025 AVC Men's Volleyball Champions League was the first edition of the newly-rebranded AVC Men's Volleyball Champions League and the 25th overall edition of the formerly named Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international men's volleyball club tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with the Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) and the SV.League (SVL). It was held at the Panasonic Arena in Hirakata and Shimadzu Arena Kyoto in Kyoto from 11 to 18 May 2025. Al-Rayyan Sports Club won the tournament for the first time by beating Osaka Bluteon in the final and Nimir Abdel-Aziz named the MVP. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf. Career Bugaoan was a member of the FEU Tamaraws men's varsity team. In 2018, he played for the Vice Co. The Criss Cross King Crunchers is a men's volleyball team playing in the Spikers' Turf. The team is owned by Rebisco and named after its Criss Cross potato snack brand. He is currently playing for the Criss Cross King Crunchers in the Spikers' Turf. Early life and education Steve Rotter was born on April 16, 1998 in La Palma, California to Charles and Maria Rotter. He attended St. John Bosco High School graduating in 2016. For his college education, Rotter studied at Long Beach City College from 2017 to 2018 before transferring to California State University, Northridge in 2019. He is currently playing for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf. Career Collegiate Lorenzo made his first game game appearance with the FEU Tamaraws in UAAP Season 81 where they got an 11-3 win-loss record in the preliminary round. Ave Joshua "Owa" Retamar (born March 7, 2002) is a Filipino volleyball player. He is currently playing as a setter for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Spikers' Turf. Career UAAP Retamar made his first game appearance with NU Bulldogs in the UAAP Season 82 volleyball tournaments. Later on, the tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023, the tournament came back after 3 years of being the hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Retamar became the team captain of the NU Bulldogs.
