Peter Barrington Hutton (August 24, 1944 – June 25, 2016) was an American experimental film, experimental filmmaker, known primarily for his silent cinematic portraits of cities and landscapes around the world. He also worked as a professional cinematographer, most notably for his former student Ken Burns, as well as cinematography for Lizzie Borden (director), Lizzie Borden's ''Born in Flames'', Sheila McLaughlin and Lynne Tillman's ''Committed'', assorted films by artist Red Grooms and Albert Maysles' ''The Gates''. Early life and education Hutton was born August 24, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Donald and Dorothy Hutton. He had a twin sister Wendy and a brother William. Hutton studied painting at an art school in Hawaii, working as a United States Merchant Marine, Merchant Marine to pay his way. Peter Hutton (priest)
Peter Hutton (b. at Holbeck, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, 29 June 1811; d. at Ratcliffe, Leicestershire, England, 2 September 1880) was an English Roman Catholic priest and headmaster of Ratcliffe College. Life He was baptized at Lady Lane Chapel, then the only Roman Catholic church in Leeds. His grandfather was a Catholic convert and wished Peter's father to be a Benedictine monk, but he found that he had no vocation, so returned to a secular life and married. In his will he requested that his son Peter should be educated in a Benedictine college, and Peter was accordingly sent to Ampleforth College in 1824, and began his novitiate in 1829. Owing to certain provisions of the Roman Catholic Relief Act 1829, his superiors were, at least theoretically, debarred from professing novices and, as they were unwilling to offend the authorities in any way, Peter was not professed. Peter Hutton (footballer)
Peter Hutton (born 2 March 1973) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player centre back, and is currently manager of NIFL Championship side Institute. He spent the majority of his 21 years playing career with Derry City, and set a club record of over 670 appearances in the League of Ireland. His father, also named Peter, played for Finn Harps in the 1970s. He spent his youth with Oxford United Stars, Coleraine, and Bradford City, before joining Derry City in 1990. Over the next 19 years he had three spells with Derry, winning seven League of Ireland Cup titles, three FAI Cup titles, as well as the League of Ireland title in 1996–97. He was named as both the PFAI Players' Player of the Year and SWAI Personality of the Year in 1996–97.
