''People of the Finnish Forests'' (Swedish: ''Finnskogens folk'') is a 1955 Swedish period drama film directed by Ivar Johansson and starring Birger Malmsten, Kerstin Wibom and Adolf Jahr.Qvist & Von Bagh p.93 It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Nils Nilsson. Synopsis At the beginning of the twentieth century, a new pastor arrives in an area near the Fryken lakes inhabited traditional by Forest Finns. He attempts to lead a religious revival in the region. Ivar Johansson (1889–1963) was a Swedish film director, screenwriter and film editor, editor. Olof Thunberg
Fritz-Olof Thunberg (21 May 1925 – 24 February 2020) was a Swedish actor and director. He was perhaps best known for being the voice of the cartoon character Bamse#Protagonists, Bamse. Early life and career Thunberg was born Fritz-Olof Thunberg in Västerås, where he formed a theatre club called Scenklubben which also included Lars Ekborg and the poet Bo Setterlind.
