The Stamps School of Art and Design (formally the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design) is the school of art and design of the University of Michigan located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The school offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in art and design. Established as an independent unit in 1974, A&D is one of 19 schools and colleges at the University of Michigan. It is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. Matthew Kenyon (born 1977) is an American new media artist and director of the art practice, S.W.A.M.P. (Studies of Work Atmosphere and Mass Production). Mary Temple Grandin (born August 29, 1947) is an American academic, inventor, and ethologist. She is a prominent proponent of the humane treatment of livestock for slaughter and the author of more than 60 scientific papers on animal behavior. Steve (born August 6, 1962) is an Austrian graphic designer, storyteller, and typographer based in New York City.
