Guilherme Aparecido Dantas, better known by his stage name MC Guimê, is a Brazilian funk singer (born 10 November 1992). He has been nominated for several awards such as Europe Music Awards, Kids Choice Awards, Meus Prêmios Nick (KCA's Brazil), Prêmio Multishow, and Dubai Music Awards. Early life Dantas was born and raised in Osasco by his father, Paulo. At the age of 16, Dantas started to write his first songs. Career Guimê started his career in 2009, after being discovered by his manager while distributing flyers. The ''Billboard'' Brasil Hot 100 is a record chart in Brazil for songs, published weekly by ''Billboard Brasil'' magazine. First launched in October 2009, the chart was initially published monthly and measured the airplay of songs on radio stations in Brazil across all music genres, compiled by Crowley Broadcast Analysis, and was named Brasil Hot 100 Airplay. The first number-one song on the chart was "Halo" by Beyoncé. Starting from 2014, it was published weekly. The magazine published the last issue of the Brasil Hot 100 Airplay on January 28, 2019, however, Crowley continued publishing the ranking (renamed Top 100 Brasil) on his own website, which began its activities in 2018. Subsequently, the magazine ceased operations for undisclosed reasons. When ''Billboard Brasil'' returned in August 2023, the Brasil Hot 100 chart was relaunched.
