Paul Octave Hébert
Paul Octave Hébert (December 12, 1818 – August 29, 1880) was a soldier and politician who served as List of Governors of Louisiana, 14th Governor of Louisiana from 1853 to 1856. A veteran of the Mexican–American War, Mexican-American War, he later served as a Brigadier General (CSA), brigadier general in the Confederate States Army. Early life Hébert was born in Iberville Parish, Louisiana on December 1818. In 1836, he graduated at the top of his class at Jefferson College. He then attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he matriculated with William T. Sherman and George H. Thomas before graduating at the top of his class. Paul Hébert, OC, CQ (May 28, 1924 – April 20, 2017) was a French Canadian television and stage actor and director, and the founder of six theatres in Quebec. He is best known for his role as Siméon Desrosiers in '' Le Temps d’une paix'', a Canadian soap opera. Life Hébert was born on May 28, 1924, in Thetford Mines, Quebec, where he was raised by his mother and aunts. He attended high school at the Collège de Lévis in Lévis and university at Université Laval in Quebec City. He died on April 20, 2017, in Quebec City. Career Hébert appeared on many Canadian television series including '' 14, rue de Galais'' and ''Nos étés''. He also notable for portraying the French judge Henri Donnedieu de Vabres in the Canadian–American drama film ''Nuremberg''. He spent the first two years of his career managing Les Comédiens de Québec, a theater company in Quebec City. Paul Allen Ebert (August 11, 1932 – April 21, 2009) was an American surgeon and athlete. He had been Chairman of the Departments of Surgery at both Cornell University Medical College and the University of California San Francisco Medical Center, as well as the President of the American College of Cardiology, the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, the Society of University Surgeons, and the Western Thoracic Surgical Association. Before earning his medical degree, he was an All-American in both baseball and basketball at the Ohio State University. He was born in Columbus, Ohio. Athlete As a student at Ohio State Ebert was 6'4", 188 lbs. He was a forward and center on the school's basketball team and a pitcher on the baseball team. He was a charter member of the Ohio State Varsity O Hall of Fame, inducted in 1977.
