Paul Alexander Casey (born 21 July 1977) is an English golfer who is a member of LIV Golf. He has also played on the US-based PGA Tour and the European Tour. In 2009, he achieved his highest position, third, in the Official World Golf Ranking. Early life Casey was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, but moved with his family to Weybridge, Surrey at the age of six. After attending Cleves School, Weybridge and then Hampton School, west London, he studied A levels at Strode's College, Egham, Surrey. Amateur career Casey attended Arizona State University on an athletic scholarship. His amateur career was distinguished. In the US he won three consecutive Pac-12 Championships (1998, 1999 and 2000). In 2000 he broke the championship scoring record held by Tiger Woods (18 under par) with a 23-under-par 265. Back on the other side of the Atlantic he won the English Amateur in 1999 and 2000. Paul Casey (Gaelic Footballer)
Paul Casey (born 14 October 1981) is an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for the Dublin county team and currently plays for the Lucan Sarsfields club. He is a wing-back. He captained Dublin during their Leinster Minor Football victory in 1999 and also won an under 21 medal in 2002. He made his league debut for Dublin in 2002 against Offaly. Casey's father was a Munster Minor Football Championship winner with Kerry in 1968. Paul has won seven Leinster Senior Football Championship medals with Dublin in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2012, four as a starter and three as a panelist. He won a 2006 Sigerson Cup medal with DCU with a win over Queens University Belfast and was vice captain on this winning team. Captain was current Dublin team mate Bryan Cullen. Paul Casey (born 6 October 1961) is an English former footballer who played as a full-back, making 74 appearances in the Football League for Sheffield United and Lincoln City. Career Casey was born in Rinteln, Lower Saxony. He began his football career as an apprentice with Sheffield United, playing 25 times for the club in the league and helping the club win the Fourth Division title in 1981–82, but was then released and joined Alliance Premier League club Boston United. He played more than 250 first-team games, including an appearance in the 1985 FA Trophy final, and was the club's player of the season in 1983–84, before moving to Lincoln City in April 1988 for a £13,000 fee. He played the last ten matches of that season as Lincoln clinched the Football Conference title, and went on to make 69 first-team appearances before returning to Boston in 1991.
