Paul Boyer (photographer)
Paul Boyer (September 28, 1861–1952) was a French photographer born in Toulon (Var (department), Var). He was the son of Charles Boyer, architect, and of Séraphine Grec. A student from École des Beaux-Arts (Paris), he invented the use of magnesium for the flash-lamp in photography, and got the gold medal at the Exposition_Universelle_(1889), Exposition Universelle of 1889. He also participated at the Moscow exhibition. He was nominated Knight of the Legion of Honor on December 30, 1891. At the Exposition Universelle (1900), Exposition Universelle of 1900, he was a member of the awarding jury. He was also decorated of Ordre des Palmes Académiques, officer des Palmes Académiques, officer of Order of Glory (Tunisia), Nichan Iftikhar, officer of Lion and Sun. He had a studio at 35 boulevard des Capucines in Paris. He made numerous portraits of actors, actresses, and other personalities of his time, often published on postcards. He died in 1952. Paul D. Boyer is an American politician and a former Republican member of the Arizona State Senate representing District 20 from 2019 to 2023. He previously served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019, including serving as the Chair of the Arizona House Education Committee. Early life, education and career Born to Fred and Sharon and a native of Arizona's West Valley, Boyer attended Deer Valley High School. Boyer earned his bachelor's degree in English and his MA in communication studies from Arizona State University West. Paul Boyer, better known as sOAZ (), is a French ''League of Legends'' coach for LDLC OL. Formerly a professional ''League of Legends'' player, he has played for against All authority (aAa), Fnatic, Origen, and Misfits Gaming of the LEC and Immortals of the LCS. While on aAa, sOAZ was a runner-up in the Season 1 World Championship. sOAZ is one of the most decorated players to play in the EU LCS, having won five split titles (2013 Spring EU LCS, 2013 Summer EU LCS, 2014 Spring EU LCS, 2018 Spring EU LCS, 2018 Summer EU LCS) and six World Championship appearances.
