Patrick Casey (b Ballynoe 28 January 1873; d Skibbereen 19 September 1940) was an Irish Roman Catholic Bishop. Casey was educated at St Colman's College, Fermoy and St Patrick's College, Maynooth. He was ordained priest in 1896. He taught at St Kieran's College Kilkenny and then at his old school. Patrick Joseph Casey (20 November 1913 – 26 January 1999) was an English prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as Bishop of Brentwood from 1969 to 1979. Casey was born in London on 20 November 1913, he was ordained to the priesthood on 3 June 1939. Patrick Joseph Casey (4 August 1941 - 26 July 2023), commonly called Pat Casey, was an Ireland rugby union player. Born in Dublin, he began playing rugby at school at C.B.C. Monkstown before moving onto University College Dublin. He played for Lansdowne Football Club (where he is in their hall of fame) and provincially for Leinster. He made his international debut on 16 January, 1963 against France. He was capped 12 times, scoring three tries for Ireland at wing playing alongside the likes of Mike Gibson, Tony O'Reilly, Tom Kiernan and Willie John McBride. Casey scored one of the greatest tries in Irish rugby history against England in an 18–5 rout at Twickenham in 1964. A move begun by débutante fly half Mike Gibson in their 22 was finished off by Casey. The game was one of the first ever rugby games captured by RTÉ television cameras. Patrick Michael Casey (born March 17, 1959) is an American college baseball coach who was the head coach for the Oregon State Beavers baseball team from 1995 to 2018. He is best known for winning the 2006 College World Series for the Beavers' first-ever baseball National Championship. The following year, he led the Beavers to a repeat championship in the 2007 College World Series, the first unranked team in history to accomplish this feat. He retired from Oregon State after winning his third national championship in the 2018 College World Series. Playing career A three-sport athlete at Newberg High School, Casey attended the University of Portland where he played baseball as well as basketball. Pat Casey (born 11 March 1962) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician who has been a senator for the Labour Panel since April 2020. He previously served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Wicklow constituency from 2016 to 2020. He is a native of Laragh, County Wicklow, but he is based in Glendalough, and owns the local hotel. He is a nephew of Bishop Eamonn Casey. He was elected to Wicklow County Council as an independent candidate in 2004, and joined Fianna Fáil in 2007. He was Chairman of Wicklow County Council from 2012 to 2013. He has also been active in the GAA. He lost his Dáil seat at the 2020 general election. Paddy Casey is an Irish singer-songwriter from Crumlin, Dublin. Biography He received his first guitar when he was 12 and left home soon after and began busking and gigging for about 12 years. At about the age of 24 he was approached by Sony A&R Scout Hugh Murray at the International Bar in Dublin, while performing at the singer/songwriter night hosted by Dave Murphy. Sony gave Casey some studio time in Sun Studios Dublin where he recorded 9 tracks in 2 days. Sony decided that they liked the tracks so much that they wanted to release them as they were. They offered Paddy a recording contract. He was signed by Sony, and was eventually taken in by U2's management company, Principle Management. Casey released his first album '' Amen (So Be It)'' in 1999. This album was produced by Pat Donne and was certified triple platinum in Ireland and did fairly well worldwide. He attended Montana State University before transferring to the University of Oklahoma. Pat Casey (December 26, 1993 – June 6, 2023) was an American athlete who competed in cycling in freestyle BMX. He won five medals at the X Games. Career Pat Casey was born on December 26, 1993, in Riverside, California. He turned professional at age 16.
