Patrick Aaltonen
Patrick Aaltonen ( th, พาทริค อัลโตเน่น, born March 18, 1994), simply known as Pate, is a Finnish-Thai professional footballer who plays as a full back for Malmin Palloseura (MPS). Personal life Aaltonen was born in Raisio. His father is Finnish and his mother is Thai. Club career Patrick Aaltonen began his career in 2011 playing for FC Honka in Finland. Ubon UMT United bought him in 2015. At the 2015 season he played well and the club promoted to the Thai Division 1 League. Fall 2016 Aaltonen returned to FC Honka in Kakkonen. Raisio
Raisio (; sv, Reso) is a town and municipality in south-western Finland and an important junction of major roads. The town has a population of () and is located in the region of Southwest Finland, neighbouring the region's capital, Turku. Vaasan Palloseura
Vaasan Palloseura (or VPS) is a Finnish football club, based in Vaasa. It currently plays in the first tier of Finnish football (''Veikkausliiga''). The club's current manager is Jussi Nuorela. The club plays its home matches at Hietalahti. VPS played twice in the UEFA Cup in 1998–99 and in 1999–00, but were knocked out in the 2nd Qualifying Round by Grazer AK of Austria and in the 1st Qualifying Round by St Johnstone of Scotland. Finnish League Cup
The Finnish League Cup was a knock-out football competition contested annually during the pre-season in winter by teams from Veikkausliiga. The league cup was abolished after the 2016 tournament and replaced with the Finnish Cup group stage starting from the 2017 season. League cup will be played again in spring of 2022. Veikkausliiga
Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called '' Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. Between 1908 and 1930 the championship was decided as a knock-out cup competition. The season started on 20 April 2013 and is scheduled to end on 5 October 2013. Teams A total of 40 teams will contest the league divided into four groups, Eteläinen (Southern), Pohjoinen (Northern), Läntinen (Western) and Itäinen (Eastern). 30 returning from the 2012 season, two relegated from Ykkönen and eight promoted from Kolmonen. The champion of each group will qualify to promotion matches to decide which two teams get promoted to the Ykkönen. The bottom two teams in each group and the worst eight-placed will qualify directly for relegation to Kolmonen.
