Patricia Quinn
Patricia Quinn, Lady Stephens (born 28 May 1944) is a Northern Irish actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Magenta in the 1975 musical comedy horror film '' The Rocky Horror Picture Show,'' and the original stage play from which it was adapted. She appeared as Dr. Nation McKinley in the 1981 musical film '' Shock Treatment''. In 2012, Quinn played the role of Megan in the horror film ''The Lords of Salem''. Early life Quinn was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to James Connolly Quinn, a bookmaker, and his wife Rebecca. She has an older brother and a younger sister. She attended the Princess Gardens Grammar School, where she developed an early talent for acting. Following stints at Belfast's Arts Theatre and British Drama League, she left for London aged 17. Patricia Quinn (atmospheric Chemist)
Patricia K. Quinn is an atmospheric chemist working at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency's Pacific Marine Environmental Lab. She is known for her work on the impact of atmospheric aerosol particles on air quality and climate. Education and career Quinn has an undergraduate degree from Reed College (1982). In 1988, she earned her Ph.D. from the University of Washington and transitioned into an associate professor position there. Starting in 1993 she also has a position at the Pacific Marine Environmental Lab of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Agency. In 2020, Quinn was appointed the editor-in-chief of the section on 'Aerosols' for the journal ''Atmosphere.'' Research Quinn's early research was on ammonia where she made the first simultaneous measurements of ammonia in both the atmosphere and the ocean.
