Pat O'Shea (Gaelic Footballer, Born 1966)
Pat O'Shea (born 14 June 1966) is a Gaelic football Manager (Gaelic games), manager from Killarney in Ireland. He was manager of the Kerry GAA, Kerry senior football team from 2007–2008, and won the 2007 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship with Kerry. He co-authored the book ''Gaelic Football Training Drills'' () by COS Productions. Playing career O'Shea played predominantly at corner forward for Dr Crokes GAA, Dr Crokes and won a Kerry Senior Football Championship in 1991 and 2000 and an All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship in 1992. He also played hurling with the St Patrick's GAA (Kerry), St Patrick's and Dr Crokes clubs and the Kerry under-21 team. Managerial career O'Shea managed the Kerry minor teams in 2002 and 2003. 2018 Kerry Senior Football Championship
The 2018 Kerry Senior Football Championship was the 117th edition of Kerry GAA's premier gaelic football tournament for senior teams in County Kerry, Ireland. The tournament consists of 17 teams (8 club teams and 9 divisional teams), with the winners representing Kerry in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship if they are a club team. If the winners are a divisional team the winners of the Kerry Club Football Championship represent the county. The championship has a back-door format for the first two rounds before proceeding to a knock-out format. Generally, any team to lose two matches will be knocked out of the championship. Dual player or dual star is a term used in Hiberno-English to describe someone who competes in multiple sports — for example, in Victorian Ireland, cricket and hurling. The term today in Gaelic games typically describes a male player who plays both Gaelic football and hurling or, if a female player, a player of ladies' Gaelic football and camogie. The player does not necessarily have to play at the same standard in both sports. Mickey Harte
Mickey Harte (born 1954) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. He has been joint-manager of Offaly since 2024. Harte managed the Tyrone county team from 2003 until his resignation in 2020, at which time he was the longest-serving manager then active with the same team in inter-county competition. He is the most successful senior manager in the county's history, having led it to three All-Ireland SFC titles, as well as six Ulster SFC titles, one National League and twelve Dr McKenna Cups. Immediately after his exit as Tyrone manager in 2020, Mickey took over the reins of the Louth county team and kept a hold of them until 2023. Jack O'Connor (born 23 October 1960) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. In 2021, he was appointed manager of the senior Kerry county team, having earlier managed it over two terms in the 2000s. O'Connor played football with his local club Dromid Pearses from the 1970s until the early 2000s. As manager, he guided Kerry to four All-Ireland SFC titles: in 2004, 2006, 2009 and 2022, during three terms as manager. Early life Born in 1960 at Toorsaleen in Mastergeehy County Kerry.
