Alberto Rabagliati
Alberto Rabagliati (27 June 1906 – 8 March 1974) was an Italian jazz singer. Early career Alberto Rabagliati was born in Milan in 1906 and was the son of a Piedmontese couple: his father Leandro Valentino Rabagliati and his mother Delfina Besso were both natives of Casorzo, a comune (municipality) in the hills of the Montferrat in the Province of Asti (Italy). In 1927, he moved to Hollywood after winning a Rudolph Valentino look-alike contest. He later recalled: "For someone like me, who had seen no more than Lake Como or Monza Cathedral so far, finding myself on board a luxury steamer with three cases full of clothes, a few rolls of dollars, grand-duchesses and countesses flirting with me was something extraordinary". He remained in America for four years, but his career as an actor never took off. Galeazzo Benti
Galeazzo Benti (6 August 1923 – 21 April 1993) was an Italian actor. He appeared in more than 70 films between 1942 and 1991. Life and career Born Galeazzo Bentivoglio in Florence, Italy, a descendant of the Bentivoglio family, which ruled Bologna from 1401 until 1506 and from 1511 until 1512, he started his career as a cartoonist and a set designer. He was the step brother of colleague Fiammetta Baralla. After his first roles in 1942, he had his breakout in 1943, in Sergio Tofano's ''Gian Burrasca'', in which he played a frivolous and falsely modest snob, a role he specialized during his career. After successfully alternating between cinema and revue, in the late 1950s he moved to Venezuela, where he worked in a television channel dedicated to Italian immigrants. He came back to Italy in the early 1980s, and here he reprised his acting career equally splitting between films and TV-series until his death from a heart attack in 1993. Raimondo Vianello (7 May 1922 – 15 April 2010) was an Italian film actor, comedian, and television host. He was a well-known Italian television personality. Biography He was born in Rome, but spent his youth in Pula, where his father, an Admiral of the Regia Marina, directed the local naval academy. During World War II he joined the Italian Social Republic, the fascist puppet state established in northern Italy after the Allied invasion of Italy. He was captured by American troops. In 1958 he met actress Sandra Mondaini, whom he married four years later, and with whom he frequently appeared in TV shows during his whole career. His first famous partner on the small screen was Ugo Tognazzi with whom, starting from 1954, he hosted the satyrical show ''Un due tre''; the show was halted in 1959 after the duo performed an ironical sketch about the then-president of the Republic, Giovanni Gronchi.
