The Smith's Snackfood Company is a British-Australian snack food brand owned by the American multinational food, snack, and beverage corporation PepsiCo. It is best known for its brand of potato chip, potato crisps. The company was founded by Frank Smith and Jim Viney in the United Kingdom in 1920 as Smith's Potato Crisps Ltd, originally packaging a twist of salt with its crisps in greaseproof paper bags which were sold around London. The dominant brand in the UK until the 1960s when Golden Wonder took over with Cheese & Onion, Smith's countered by creating Salt & Vinegar flavour (first tested by their north-east England subsidiary Tudor Crisps, Tudor) which was launched nationally in 1967. After establishing the product in the UK, Smith set up the company in Australia in 1932. Both versions of Smiths have had various owners, but were reunited under PepsiCo ownership, with the UK business being purchased in 1989, and the Australian business in 1998. ''Parkers Car Price Guide'' is a car valuation, reviews and advice website, and is one of the largest of its type in Europe. It was a monthly magazine between March 1972 and January 2020, and since 1998, a website with reviews and price lists for new and used cars in the United Kingdom, a complete research tool for car buyers. History Parkers Car Price Guide was founded in 1972. The 1st issue was released in March 1972, priced at 20p. Full-color front pages came in 1973. In 1997, Emap bought Parker's portfolio from Parker Mead. The last Parker Mead edition of the Price Guide was in August 1997. The parkers.co.uk website launched in 1999. Since 2008, Parkers has been owned and published by the German company Bauer Media Group. Editorial team The portfolio of products has been edited by Keith Adams since 2016. It stars Mo'Nique, Countess Vaughn, Mari Morrow, Dorien Wilson, Jenna von Oÿ, Ken Lawson, Ken L. and Yvette Wilson. The show centers on the relationship between a mother and daughter, Nikki and Kim Parker, who reside outside of Los Angeles in Santa Monica, California, with both attending Santa Monica College. The series was produced by Big Ticket Television, in association with Saradipity Productions and Regan Jon Productions, with Bill Boulware, Ralph Farquhar, Sara V.
