''Parker'' is a 1984 British crime film directed by Jim Goddard and starring Bryan Brown, Cherie Lunghi and Kurt Raab, in which a British businessman disappears on a visit to Germany. The film premiered at the MIFED international film and multimedia market in Milan on 1 November 1984 before being released theatrically in the UK on 3 May 1985. Jim Goddard was an England, English film and TV director who was born in Battersea, London. Uwe Adam Ochsenknecht (; born 7 January 1956) is a German actor and singer. Career Films Ochsenknecht has starred in include ''Das Boot'' (1981), '' Schtonk!'' (1992), and the TV miniseries ''Frank Herbert's Dune'' (2000). In the early 1990s, he gained a second foothold in music. Hannelore Elsner (; born Hannelore Elstner; 26 July 1942 – 21 April 2019) was a German actress with a long career in television and film. She first performed on stage in Munich, and later starred in popular films and television series such as ''Die Schwarzwaldklinik'' (''The Black Forest Clinic''), and as the lead character, Inspector Lea Sommer, in the series '' Die Kommissarin''. She was recognized internationally for her lead role in the 2000 film ''Die Unberührbare'' ('' No Place to Go''), shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Thomas Geoffrey Wilkinson (5 February 1948 – 30 December 2023) was an English actor. Known for his roles on stage and screen, he received numerous accolades including a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Primetime Emmy Award as well as nominations for two Academy Awards and two Laurence Olivier Awards.
