Parco di Centocelle is an underground station of Line C of the Rome Metro. Line C (Rome Metro)
Line C is a Rome Metro line which runs from Monte Compatri-Pantano in the eastern suburbs of Rome, in Italy, to San Giovanni near the city centre, where it meets Line A. It is the third metro line to be built in the city and the first to be fully automated. The first section, between Monte Compatri-Pantano and Parco di Centocelle, opened on 9 November 2014. The second, from Parco di Centocelle to Lodi, opened on 29 June 2015. The third, from Lodi to San Giovanni, opened on 12 May 2018. The line reuses parts of the old Rome-Pantano railway, a light railway that is the last remaining part of the Rome-Fiuggi railway. Via Casilina
The Via Casilina is a medieval road in Latium and Campania. It led from Rome to Casilinum (present-day Capua), to present-day Santa Maria Capua Vetere. It was created from the fusion of two ancient Roman roads, the ''Via Latina'' and the ''Via Labicana''. The Via Labicana led from Rome to '' Labicum'', while the Via Latina ended at Capua. In the Middle Ages, Capua was depopulated and the main settlement shifted to ''Casilinum'', formerly a mere fluvial port. This is also the location of the modern town of Capua. As a consequence, the union of the ''Via Latina'' and of the ''Via Labicana'' took on the new namesake of ''Via Casilina''. This usage also survives for the modern road, while ''Via Latina'' is not used anymore. Palmiro Michele Nicola Togliatti (; 26 March 1893 – 21 August 1964) was an Italian politician and statesman, leader of Italy's Italian Communist Party, Communist party for nearly forty years, from 1927 until his death. Born into a middle-class family, Togliatti received an education in law at the University of Turin, later served as an officer and was wounded in World War I, and became a tutor. Described as "severe in approach but extremely popular among the Communist base" and "a hero of his time, capable of courageous personal feats", his supporters gave him the nickname ("the Best"). In 1930, Togliatti renounced Italian citizenship, and he became a citizen of the Soviet Union. Upon his death, Tolyatti, a Soviet city was named after him.
