Paranorman
''ParaNorman'' is a 2012 American animated comedy horror, comedy horror film produced by Laika, LLC, Laika. Directed by Sam Fell and Chris Butler (filmmaker), Chris Butler (the latter's feature directorial debut), and written by Butler, the film stars the voices of Kodi Smit-McPhee, Jodelle Ferland, Bernard Hill, Tucker Albrizzi, Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Leslie Mann, Jeff Garlin, Elaine Stritch, Tempestt Bledsoe, Alex Borstein, and John Goodman. It is the first stop-motion film to use a 3-D color printer to create character faces, and only the second to be shot in 3-D film, 3-D. In the film, Norman Babcock, a young boy who can communicate with ghosts, is given the task of ending a 300-year-old Witchcraft, witch's curse on his Massachusetts town. Sam Fell
Samuel Jason Fell (born 22 November 1965) is a British animator, director, screenwriter and voice actor. Sam started his career as director on the short film ''The Big Cheese'' for 3 Peach Animation. He then joined Aardman Animations and worked on projects like ''Pop'', Peter Lord's Oscar-nominated short film ''Wat's Pig'', as well as '' Rex the Runt'', before directing the 2002 project ''Chump''. Chris Butler (born 12 February 1974) is an English animator, writer and director, known for his works at Laika, such as ''ParaNorman'' and '' Missing Link'', which were both nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
