"Panic Attack" is a song by British rock band the Paddingtons, released on 4 April 2005. It is the first single to be taken from their début album ''First Comes First''. Overall, it is the band's second single behind " 21", which was released the previous year. "Panic Attack" peaked at number 25 on the UK Singles Chart. UK webzine '' Drowned in Sound'' described the music as "power-pop-punk": "Rollicking drums propel ‘Panic Attack’ down blackened alley and into debauched club, while rasping, confrontational vocals dare the listener into Hari Kiri." Releases The CD single included a cover of "Molly's Lips" by the Vaselines (1988). The Paddingtons
The Paddingtons are an English indie rock band from Hull. Between April 2005 and 9 November 2006, they played over 150 live shows, including venues such as Trent Park Golf Club, The Square, Harlow; Jersey Live; Summercase; The Underground, Stoke-on-Trent; T in the Park and at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. Career Composed of Tom Atkin (vocalist), Stuee Bevan (guitarist) (originally Martin Hines), Josh Hubbard (guitarist); and brothers Lloyd (bassist) and Grant Dobbs (drummer), they were signed by Alan McGee to his Poptones record label. They originally made their name touring in and around the Hull area, at such venues as the Welly Club, The New Adelphi Club, and the Railway pub in Cottingham and became part of the New Yorkshire movement of the mid-2000s. Great Big Sea was a Canadian folk rock band from Newfoundland and Labrador, best known for performing energetic rock interpretations of traditional Newfoundland folk songs including sea shanties, which draw from the island's 500-year Irish, Scottish, and Cornish heritage. Eugene Kelly (born 9 August 1965) Eugene Kelly allmusic biography. is a Scottish musician who is a member of the group The Vaselines, a founding member of the now disbanded Eugenius and has had a number of solo releases. Eugene Kelly formed The Vaselines in Glasgow, Scotland in 1986 with Frances McKee and was a member until 1989 when the band disbanded the week their first and only full-length album, ''Dum-Dum'', was released. Kurt Cobain of Nirvana was a big fan of the band, covering three of their songs. Molly's Lips and Son Of A Gun were included on their album, '' Incesticide''. The Vaselines
The Vaselines are a Scottish alternative rock band. Formed in Glasgow in 1986, the band was originally a duo between its songwriters Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee, but later added James Seenan and Eugene's brother Charlie Kelly on bass and drums respectively from the band Secession. McKee had formerly been a member of a band named the Pretty Flowers with Duglas T. Stewart, Norman Blake, Janice McBride and Sean Dickson. Eugene Kelly had formerly played in the Famous Monsters. "Candy"/"Molly's Lips" is a vinyl-only split-single from the American rock bands the Fluid and Nirvana. It was released in January 1991 on Sub Pop records and includes two live tracks: "Candy" by the Fluid; and "Molly's Lips", a cover of a song by the Vaselines, performed by Nirvana. Background "Candy" first appeared on the Fluid's 1990 EP, ''Glue''. The EP was re-released on CD in 1993 along with their 1989 album, ''Roadmouth''. "Molly's Lips" was recorded live on February 9, 1990, at the Pine Street Theatre in Portland, Oregon.
