Shyam Ray Temple (Śyāma rāẏa mandira) also known as Pancha-ratna temple, is a Krishna temple in Bishnupur town of Medinipur division in Indian state of West Bengal. In this temple, the Hindu God Krishna is worshiped in the form of S''hyam''; along with ''Shyam'', the murti of ''Radhika'' (Radha) is also worshipped. Pancha Ratna Shiva Temple
Pancha Ratna Shiva Temple, also known as Bhubaneswar Shiva Mandir, is a Hindu temple of the Puthia Temple Complex in Puthia Upazila, Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh. It is the largest Shiva temple in Bangladesh. The shrine overlooks the Shiv Sagar (Shiva's lake) to its left. The temple is well decorated in ''pancharatna'' (five spires) architectural style and is located at the entrance of the Puthia Rajbari. Among the surviving Hindu temples, this shrine is said to be "an exceptional and more attractive for its architectural beauty" in Bangladesh. Gokulchand Temple is a 17th-century stone built '' pancharatna'' temple in Gokulnagar village in the Joypur CD block in the Bishnupur subdivision of the Bankura district in the state of West Bengal, India. ''Ratna Style'' () is a style of Bengal temple architecture, that originated in Bengal from the 15th to 16th centuries, under the Mallabhum kingdom (also called Malla dynasty). The ''Pancharatna kritis'' (transliterated as ''Pañcaratna kṛti'') (Sanskrit: ''pancha'' "five" + ''ratna'' "gems") are a set of five ''kritis'' (songs) in Carnatic classical music, composed by the 18th-century Indian composer Tyagaraja. The first ''kriti'' is penned in Sanskrit while the other four ''kritis'' are penned in Telugu. The songs are: " Jagadananda karaka", "Dudukugala Nanne", "Sadhinchene", "Kanakana Ruchira" and " Endaro Mahanubhavulu". Tyagaraja and the Pancharatna Kritis Tyagaraja lived in the late 18th century and early 19th century in Tiruvaiyaru in present-day Thanjavur district in Tamil Nadu. ''Pancharātra'' is a Sanskrit drama written by Bhasa. The plot is based on the Hindu epic ''Mahabharata''. The play takes its name from the period of five nights referred in the plot. Pancha(५) means Five(5) and Raatra means nights. The Pandavas were roaming in the forest for twelve years. Dronacharya who was the teacher of both the pandavas and kauravas knew Duryodhana's (leader of kauravas) reluctance to give the land to the Pandavas. He predicted a war and to avoid such a calamity he was looking for an opportunity. So he asked Duryadhona to perform sacrifice and at the sacrifice, Duryadhona took a bath and asked for gurudakshini (the act of repaying one's guru). Drona cleverly demanded half of the land for the Pandavas. Duryadhona agreed but on one condition that he would provide him with the whereabouts about the pandavas within five nights.
