Pablo González Juárez (born 12 May 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Cypriot First Division club Ethnikos Achna. Club career Villarreal González was born in Almuñécar, Province of Granada, Andalusia, spending his last four years as a youth with Atlético Madrid and Villarreal CF (two seasons apiece). He started his senior career in 2011, appearing regularly for the C team in the Tercera División and making his senior debut on 7 September in a 3–0 away win against UD Juventud Barrio del Cristo. He scored his first goals for the side on 15 January of the following year, netting a brace in a 5–0 home victory over Mislata CF. On 3 February 2012, González was called up by the reserves for a Segunda División game against FC Barcelona B, but remained unused in the 0–0 home draw. Almuñécar () is a Spanish city and municipalities of Spain, municipality located in the southwestern part of the comarcas of Spain, comarca of the Costa Granadina, in the province of Granada. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958.
