PIF Saudi Ladies International
The PIF Saudi Ladies International is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET), played since 2020. History The inaugural tournament was first played in Saudi Arabia at Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City by the Red Sea. It was the penultimate regular LET event of the 2020 season and marked the first time professional lady golfers played competitively in the country. It was followed the week after by the Saudi Ladies Team International, a team event that would later evolve into the Aramco Team Series. For the 2023 tournament, the prize money increased from $1 million to $5 million, giving parity with the men's Saudi International for the first time. 2024 Ladies European Tour
The 2024 Ladies European Tour is a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments are sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). Changes for 2024 Tournaments The Australian swing with Women's NSW Open and Australian Women's Classic returned after a one-year hiatus, while the ISPS Handa World Invitational in Northern Ireland, co-sanctioned with the LPGA Tour, was removed from the schedule after three seasons. The Belgian Ladies Open, Ladies Finnish Open and La Sella Open in Spain were not part of the schedule at the time of announcement, but the schedule included two potential events in Europe in June and September. Emily Kristine Pedersen
Emily Kristine Pedersen (born 7 March 1996) is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. She had a successful amateur career winning the 2013 International European Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2014 British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship. Turning professional in early 2015 she had a successful first season, finishing runner-up in the Deloitte Ladies Open and the Lacoste Ladies Open de France before winning the Hero Women's Indian Open. Atthaya Thitikul (, , ; born 20 February 2003), also Jeeno Thitikul, is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. Until 2023, she was the youngest golfer ever to win a professional golf tournament at aged 14 years, 4 months and 19 days after winning the Ladies European Thailand Championship as an amateur on 9 July 2017. The 2021 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The season was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with many tournaments either being postponed or cancelled. Among the cancellations was the Australian Swing, the tour's season opening. Kristýna Napoleaová (born 12 April 1996) is a Czech professional golfer and former footballer with AC Sparta Prague. She won the 2023 Amundi German Masters. Career Napoleaová is a former football player of the Czech Republic women's national under-17 football team and a six-time champion of the Czech Women's U-15 and U-19 League with AC Sparta Prague. She took up golf in 2016 at the age of twenty, after an injury halted her football career. She turned professional just three and a half years later in 2020. Johanna Wrigley (née Gustavsson; born 13 December 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer and Ladies European Tour player. Georgia Kelly Hall (born 12 April 1996) is an English professional golfer. She plays on the Ladies European Tour, and the LPGA Tour. She has won one major, the 2018 Women's British Open. Aditi Ashok (born 29 March 1998) is an Indian professional golfer from Bangalore. She plays on the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour. She made her Olympic Games debut at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Dame Lydia Ko (born 24 April 1997) is a New Zealand professional golfer, member of the LPGA Hall of Fame, and the reigning Olympic champion.
