P. J. O'Mullan
P. J. O'Mullan (born 1974) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. Born in Loughguile, County Antrim, O'Mullan was introduced to hurling by his father, a long-serving selector and administrator with the local club team. He became involved at underage levels with the Loughgiel Shamrocks club. O'Mullan's senior club career coincided with a lean period for Loughgiel Shamrocks. After being involved in team management and coaching in all grades at club level with Loughgiel Shamrocks, O'Mullan enjoyed his greatest successes at senior level. In Gaelic games, a manager or (in Irish) ''bainisteoir'' is involved in the direction and instruction of the on-field operations of a team. Terence McNaughton
Terence "Sambo" McNaughton (born 1965) is an Irish former hurler who played as a left wing-back at senior level for the Antrim county team. Born in Cushendall, County Antrim, McNaughton first played competitive hurling during his schooling at St Aloysius High School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Antrim senior team, while also joining the under-21 and senior sides. He made his senior debut during the 1981 "B" championship. McNaughton immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won two All-Ireland "B" medals and six Ulster medals. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. As a member of the Ulster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions, McNaughton ended his career without a Railway Cup medal. Kevin Ryan (hurler)
Kevin Ryan (born 1965) is an Irish former hurler who played in various positions for the Waterford senior hurling team. Ryan made his first appearance for the team during the 1980–81 National League and became a regular member of the starting fifteen over the next decade. During that time he played a part in securing Waterford's promotion from Division 3 to the top flight of the National League. Ryan ended up as Munster runner-up on two occasions. At club level Ryan is a multiple county club championship medalist with Mount Sion. In retirement from playing Ryan became involved in team management. He first coached club sides Mount Sion and Oulart the Ballagh, before later serving as a selector and manager with the Waterford and Carlow senior hurling teams. The 2011–12 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 42nd staging of the All-Ireland hurling club championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970. The draw for the 2011-12 fixtures took place in August 2011. The championship began on 9 October 2011 and ended on 17 March 2012. Clarinbridge were the defending champions, however, they did not qualify for the championship. Loughgiel Shamrocks secured the title with a 4-13 to 0-17 defeat of Coolderry in the All-Ireland final. Micheál Donoghue
Micheál Donoghue (born 7 September 1974) is an Irish hurling manager and former player. He is the current manager of the Galway senior hurling team. Donoghue was previously manager of the Galway senior hurling team from the end of 2015 until the summer of 2019. Donoghue began his hurling career at club level with Clarinbridge. After breaking onto the club's top adult team he enjoyed his greatest success almost a decade later when he captained the club to the 2001 Galway Senior Championship. At inter-county level, Donoghue, along with his twin brother Liam, was part of the successful Galway minor team that won the All-Ireland Championship in 1992 before later winning an All-Ireland Championship with the under-21 team in 1993. He also joined the Galway senior team in 1993.
