Otto I Of Olomouc
Otto I (1045 – 9 June 1087), known as Otto the Fair (), a member of the Přemyslid dynasty, was Prince of Olomouc in Moravia from 1061 until his death. He was the youngest son of the Bohemian duke Bretislav I and his wife Judith of Schweinfurt. After his father's death in 1055, his older brother was crowned as Duke Spytihněv II of Bohemia. Otto ruled as a Přemyslid prince in Brno, but after struggles with his brother Vratislaus of Olomouc, he took refuge in Prague. When in 1061 Spytihněv died and his brother Vratislaus was crowned duke, Otto took over the government of the Olomouc principality. Like his brothers Conrad and Bishop Jaromír of Prague, he strongly resisted against Duke Vratislaus' centralised rule. Otto married Euphemia, a daughter of King Béla I of Hungary, before 1073. Bretislaus I, Duke Of Bohemia
Bretislav I (; 1002/1005 – 10 January 1055), known as the "Bohemian Achilles", of the Přemyslid dynasty, was Duke of Bohemia from 1034 until his death in 1055. Youth Bretislav was the son of Duke Oldřich and his low-born concubine Božena. As an illegitimate son who could not obtain a desirable wife by conventional means, he chose to kidnap Judith of Schweinfurt, a daughter of the Bavarian noble Henry of Schweinfurt, Margrave of Nordgau, in 1019 at Schweinfurt, and marry her. During his father's reign, in 1019 or 1029, Bretislav took back Moravia from Poland. About 1031, he invaded Hungary in order to prevent its expansion under king Stephen. The partition of Bohemia between Oldřich and his brother Jaromír in 1034 was probably the reason why Bretislav fled beyond the Bohemian border, only to come back to take the throne after Jaromír's abdication. Biagota
Biagota (born 920) was probably the wife of duke Boleslaus I of Bohemia. Michal Lutovský writes in his book ''Bratrovrah a tvůrce státu'' (Fratricide and country-maker) that only a few coins confirm the existence of Biagota. These coins are considered the oldest type of Přemyslid denar. An inscription can be read on them, BIAGOTACOIIIIX or BIAGOTACOVIIX, meaning BIAGOTA CONIVNX: ''wife Biagota''. Possibly these coins were made on the occasion of marriage, but there is no proof for it. It is not certain that Biagota was the mother of all four adult children of Boleslaus I ( Dobrawa, Boleslaus II of Bohemia, Strachkvas, and Mlada of Bohemia). Her origins are unclear. Boleslaus I (Czech: ''Boleslav I. Ukrutný''; 915–972), a member of the Přemyslid dynasty, was ruler ( ''kníže'', "prince") of the Duchy of Bohemia from 935 until his death in 972. Berthold of Schweinfurt (died 15 January 980) was a German nobleman. Life He was first mentioned as a Count in 941. In 960, he was mentioned as Count in the Radenzgau. In 961, he appears as count on the lower Raab and in 973 as count in the Volkfeld shire. After successful battles in Bohemia and Hungary, he was named as Margrave in 976. Emma (Hemma) (bef. 950 – 1005/06) was a Bohemian duchess consort as the second wife of Boleslaus II of Bohemia. Her origins are uncertain. Historian Gelasius Dobner (1719–90) thought she was a princess of Kingdom of Burgundy, Burgundy, and this theory has been recently respected. The latest research of historians and Numismatics, numismatists, however, indicate that she was of Italian-Burgundian origin and have identified her with Emma of Italy, widow of King Lothair of France (d. 986). Henry of Schweinfurt (''de Suinvorde''; – 18 September 1017) was the Margrave of the Nordgau from 994 until 1004. He was called the "glory of eastern Franconia" by his own cousin, the chronicler Thietmar of Merseburg. Henry was the son of Berthold and Eilika (Eiliswintha or Eila) of Walbeck. His father's parentage is not known with certainty, but he may have been a son of Arnulf, Duke of Bavaria. Henry was Bavarian, whoever his grandfather. Henry held a succession of countships after his father's death in 980. He was appointed ''marchio'', like his father, of the Bavarian Nordgau in 994.
