"One More Good Night with the Boys" is a song by British singer-songwriter Tasmin Archer, released by EMI on 4 March 1996 as the lead single from her second studio album, ''Bloom''. The song was written by Archer and John Hughes, and was produced by Mitchell Froom. It reached number 45 in the UK Singles Chart. Music video The song's music video was directed by Jefery Levy and produced by Joseph Uliano, with Troy Smith as director of photography, for One World Productions. Critical reception Upon its release, pan-European magazine ''Music & Media'' picked "One More Good Night with the Boys" as their "single of the week" and wrote, "Archer once again proves to be one of the UK's unique vocalists. Tasmin Archer
Tasmin Archer (born 3 August 1963) is a British pop singer from Bradford, England. Her first album, ''Great Expectations'', spawned the hit " Sleeping Satellite", which reached number one in the United Kingdom and Ireland. She won the Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act in 1993 and has since released three more studio albums. Early life Archer was born in Bradford, Yorkshire, to Jamaican parents. She attended Grange Upper School and, after leaving, first worked as a sewing machine operator. She attended Bradford College in 1980 to study typing, and later became a clerk at Leeds Magistrates' Court. Archer joined a group called Dignity as a backing vocalist, and played with different bands around the Bradford area. Peter Michael Thomas (born 9 August 1954) is an English rock drummer best known for his collaboration with singer Elvis Costello, both as a member of his band the Attractions and with Costello as a solo artist.
